Troutman Pepper Adds Former EPA Water Official
Anna Wildeman's joining the firm was covered by Law360 in an article titled " Troutman Pepper Adds Former EPA Water Official."
Wildeman told Law360 in an interview Friday that the value she brings to Troutman and its clients goes beyond those big-ticket issues. She said that the experience she had as principal deputy and acting assistant administrator in the Office of Water also allowed her to hone in on regulations that are often overlooked, including EPA approvals of state water quality plans.
"Knowing the ins and outs of how those agency processes work, and what they're going to be looking at, are going to be a huge benefit to existing clients and also give us a chance to really build that consolidated water practice in D.C.," Wildeman said. The practice she envisions helping cultivate "hits these national issues but is also sort of flexible enough and informed enough to also address those on-the-ground issues at the state level because that's primarily where Clean Water Act issues are implemented."
