Troutman Pepper Counsels Hull Street Energy on Acquisition of Natural Gas Plant from ENGIE North America
NEW YORK – Troutman Pepper client Hull Street Energy, a private equity firm that specializes in deploying capital into the power sector as it decarbonizes, has acquired the Waterbury Generation facility from a subsidiary of ENGIE North America. The Waterbury Generation facility provides 96 megawatts of flexible, fast start natural gas power generation capacity to the New England region. Through this acquisition, Hull Street Energy will be able to help support the state, local community and other stakeholders integrate new variable renewable energy resources and meet regional reliability standards.
