Troutman Pepper's James H.S. Levine Re-Elected Chair of Delaware State Bar Association's E-Discovery and Technology Law Section
WILMINGTON, Del. — James H. S. Levine, a partner in Troutman Pepper’s Business Litigation Practice Group, has been re-elected chair of the Delaware State Bar Association’s (DSBA’s) E-Discovery and Technology Law Section. Levine has been involved with the Section since 2013 and has served as chair since 2016. He will serve from July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2022.
The E-Discovery and Technology Law Section educates lawyers on the role and management of electronic information in the litigation process and provides a forum for analysis of corporate, transactional, and regulatory issues related to the internet and digital technologies, including but not limited to data privacy and protection and emerging technologies such as blockchain.
At Troutman Pepper, Levine concentrates his practice on complex commercial and corporate litigation, as well as business and fiduciary disputes. He also counsels clients on transactional matters involving corporate governance principles and complex commercial transactions. Levine has represented clients before the Delaware Court of Chancery and Superior Court, and the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware. He also has been appointed as a special master to resolve discovery disputes in pending litigation matters.
The DSBA promotes ethical conduct by lawyers, requires and offers high quality continuing legal education, protects the public from the unauthorized practice of law, reviews and makes recommendations regarding Delaware’s court system, and fosters the mentoring of new lawyers.
