Justin Boose (New York/Energy) represents energy companies, regulated utilities, finance providers and project developers in the financing, development, sale and acquisition of energy projects, with an emphasis in renewable energy project finance.
William G. Homiller (Richmond/Real Estate) focuses his practice on all areas of commercial real estate, including development, acquisition, sale, financing, land use and zoning, and construction.
Paul E. McGowan (Atlanta/Intellectual Property) represents clients in intellectual property litigation and counseling, primarily in the area of patent litigation. He also regularly serves as lead counsel in inter partes review and other post-grant proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board.
John D. McPhaul, II (Richmond/Finance) focuses his practice on the representation of commercial lending institutions, including major national, regional and local banks, in a variety of financing transactions. These include secured and unsecured commercial credit facilities, commercial real estate acquisition, development and construction loans, loan workout, restructuring and refinancing, and Virginia real estate foreclosures.
Scott M. Rickard (Portland/Energy) concentrates his practice on mergers and acquisitions, project finance and corporate finance, with a particular emphasis on representation of utilities, financial institutions and project developers and their sponsors in the financing, purchase, sale and development of thermal and renewable energy generation assets and transmission facilities.
Jordan Rubinstein (Washington, DC/Insurance) represents insurance companies ranging from single-line risk retention groups to multi-line national companies on coverage analysis and litigation matters.
Mamta K. Shah (New York/Employee Benefits) counsels clients on the implementation, design and administration of qualified employee benefit plans, nonqualified deferred compensation arrangements, health and welfare plans, and equity- and incentive-based compensation plans. She also has experience in employee benefits issues arising in the context of business transactions, such as corporate mergers, acquisitions and dispositions.
Christopher A. Wiech (Atlanta/Business Litigation) focuses his practice on business litigation, representing clients in a wide array of business disputes, including claims for breach of contract, fraud, tortious interference, real property disputes, receiverships, RICO, and other business torts and statutory claims. In addition, he counsels clients on technology and intellectual property licensing matters, as well as information management.
M. Drew Wooldridge (Atlanta/Energy) advises public utilities on federal and state regulatory and legislative issues, including legislative affairs, administrative actions, regulatory and statutory compliance, supply-side resource certification and construction monitoring, privacy, Open Records Act requests and customer service issues.
