Troutman Sanders Partner Andrea Farley Named Top Woman Dealmaker
ATLANTA – Andrea Farley, a partner in Troutman Sanders’ corporate practice, has been named among a list of Top U.S. Women Dealmakers by the Global M&A Network. The award honors the most accomplished women dealmakers from the private equity, lending, restructuring, M&A financial advisory and legal transactional industries, in particular the middle-market segments. Winners were independently selected based on prominence and influence.
“These award recipients reflect the very best from the transactional communities,” said Shanta Kumari, CEO and global group editor at the Global M&A Network. “These brilliant and highly accomplished women have earned the respect and admiration of their colleagues, clients as well as peers from the industry.”
Farley represents public and private companies in negotiating a variety of corporate reorganization transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures. She has particular experience representing specialty finance companies in their M&A transactions and also represents private equity funds and their portfolio companies in connection with mergers, acquisitions, recapitalizations and general corporate matters.
Consistently recognized as a top-tier corporate practice, Troutman Sanders regularly advises on multimillion- and multibillion-dollar transactions. In the past three years alone, the firm’s corporate practice has handled more than $50 billion in capital market deals and more than $25 billion in M&A and private equity deals.
