Troutman Sanders Partner Named 'CleanTech 100' Practitioner
IRVINE, Calif. – Troutman Sanders LLP is pleased to announce that Orange County partner John J. Leonti was named a “CleanTech 100” practitioner in the inaugural edition of the LMG Clean Technology & Renewable Energy guide for his work in the area of project finance.
The guide’s CleanTech 100 consists of the top 100 clean technology and renewable energy attorneys practicing in the industry today. These practitioners were consistently recommended by their colleagues and clients as reputable and effective attorneys who were constantly involved with the industry.
“Partner John Leonti is recognized by his peers for his ‘outstanding counsel of private investors in the renewable energy market,’” the guide stated. “He has done work in several busy industry centers, including Texas, where he helped develop and finance a long-term power and hedging agreement for an energy storage facility [and has] also represented a large investment bank with its tax equity investment in a 55-MW utility-scale solar facility in New Mexico.”
At Troutman Sanders, Leonti advises financial institutions, corporations and private investment funds on the structuring, negotiation, and execution of complex financial transactions ranging from over-the-counter derivative solutions and repurchase transactions to tax equity investments.
