About the new Of Counsels in the Atlanta office:
Anthony D. Greene joined Troutman Sanders in 2001 and is a member of the firm’s Real Estate Commercial Ownership, Leasing & Management; Real Estate Development & Acquisition; and Real Estate Finance practice groups.
Greene focuses his practice on real estate and other commercial transactions. He has represented institutional real estate owners nationally and internationally in connection with acquisitions, development projects and dispositions, mortgage loans, construction loans, structured finance transactions, ground and space leases, management and leasing agreements, tax free exchanges and construction contracts. Additionally, he represents institutional lenders in connection with loans and refinancings secured by mortgages on office, mixed use and apartment buildings, healthcare facilities and recreational facilities, as well as on loan workouts and foreclosures, and representing tenants leasing offices, stores, restaurants and sites for development under ground leases.
Greene earned a J.D. in 2001 from the University of Virginia, a B.A. in 1997 from Emory University, and attended a summer study program in 1996 at Oxford University in England.
Hallie M. Meushaw joined Troutman Sanders in 2003 and is a member of the firm’s Environmental & Natural Resources, and Energy & Energy-Related Practices practice groups, as well as the firm’s Climate Change team.
Prior to working at the firm, she was a research assistant with the Rand Corporation (Environmental Science & Policy Center) in Washington, D.C., from 1998 to 1999; a project coordinator for Science & Policy Associates, Inc. in Washington, D.C.; and a paralegal for Land and Water Fund in Bose, Idaho, in 1997.
Meushaw represents electric utility and other clients on a range of compliance matters, including permitting, rulemaking, and enforcement actions. She also has experience in the areas of renewable energy, business transactions, and natural resource and land use planning. She counsels clients on issues arising under the Federal Power Act, the Clean Water Act, the Coastal Zone Management Act, the Endangered Species Act, the National Environmental Policy Act and similar state and local regulatory schemes.
She obtained a J.D. in 2002 from the University of Virginia, where she was on the editorial board of the Virginia Environmental Law Journal, and a B.S., with distinction, summa cum laude, in 1996 from James Madison University.
About the new Of Counsel in the New York office:
Mamta K. Shah joined Troutman Sanders in 2008 and is a member of the firm’s Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation practice group.
Prior to working at the firm, she was an associate at Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP from 2001 to 2008.
Her practice focuses on all aspects of employee benefits law, including the implementation, design and administration of qualified employee benefit plans (such as 401(k), profit sharing and defined benefit plans), nonqualified deferred compensation arrangements, health and welfare plans, and severance, stock option and other equity and/or incentive based compensation plans. She also has experience in employee benefits issues arising in the context of business transactions, such as corporate mergers, acquisitions and dispositions.
Shah received a J.D. from Hofstra University in 2001, a M.S. from Georgetown University in 1997, and a B.A. from New York University in 1995.
