Troutman Sanders Receives TerraLex Award and Two Firm Partners Elected to Leadership Positions
Troutman Sanders is pleased to announce that it was awarded TerraLex’s first-ever Collaboration Award at the TerraLex Global Meeting – Fall 2012 in Kansas City, Missouri. The meeting was attended by representatives from 160 law firms from more than 100 countries.
The Collaboration Award was presented to Troutman Sanders for the firm’s collaboration with seven TerraLex member firms in connection with regulatory and litigation matters involving a single client product. The regulatory challenges and related litigation in the matter typically involved State Attorneys General and State Departments of Revenue in each jurisdiction.
The matters involved in the multi-million dollar engagement were conducted over an 18 month period of time.
The TerraLex Collaboration Award is presented annually to the TerraLex firm, which provides the greatest opportunity for TerraLex member firms to collaborate involving a single matter or series of related matters.
Additionally, Jacob A. Lutz III, the firm’s Financial Institutions practice group leader, was re-elected to the TerraLex Board of Directors, to the position of Co-Vice Chair of TerraLex North America and as Chair of the TerraLex Finance and Banking Practice Group.
Ashley L. Taylor, Jr., the firm’s Regulatory Compliance and Government Litigation practice group leader, was elected Chair of the TerraLex Government Affairs Practice Group.
