Chris is a compensation and benefits specialist in the firm's Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation practice. He works closely with clients to provide technical advice and guidance on retirement plan compliance issues and conducts due diligence benefit plan reviews with respect to corporate transactions.
Chris also conducts benefit plan audits and monitors the latest regulations to assess the impact on plan sponsors and drafts plan documentation and amendments to ensure compliance with the applicable legal requirements. Additionally, he provides guidance on employee benefit communications and prepares summary plan descriptions and applicable notices to participants.
His experience includes qualified retirement plan compliance and document drafting; IRS correction and determination letter filings; participant communication drafting (e.g., summary plan descriptions and summaries of material modification); and regulatory research and analysis.
Before joining the firm, Chris was a senior employee benefits advisor at a global law firm.
