Jessica regularly works with financial institutions serving as trustees, collateral agents, depositaries, and escrow agents. She also represents a variety of constituents throughout many stages of pre-bankruptcy planning, bankruptcy cases, debt restructurings, distressed credit situations, and distressed acquisitions and dispositions.
Jessica focuses her practice on the representation of financial institutions and investment funds in secured and unsecured financings, restructuring transactions, bankruptcy matters, and out-of-court restructurings. She regularly advises clients concerning various sophisticated secured and unsecured debt offerings, as well as on syndicated loans and project finance matters.
Jessica's representation includes assisting buyers in the acquisition of distressed assets in bankruptcy, including operating companies, real estate, distressed debt, intellectual property, and fixed assets. She has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in numerous avoidance actions and adversary proceedings brought under the bankruptcy code.
Jessica's litigation background adds to her ability to provide a broad range of services and guidance to clients. She represents clients with cases in both federal and state courts, including the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and the New York State Supreme Court. Jessica has also represented clients in appeals to the Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
