Kim has represented the interests of institutional mortgage lenders, servicers, and investors in the mortgage servicing industry for more than 20 years and her practice includes foreclosure, loss mitigation, debt disputes, title curative, and bankruptcy. She has extensive experience managing the entire foreclosure process including federal, regulatory, and statutory compliance matters. Prior to joining the firm, she practiced with other creditor rights focused law firms and was responsible for the implementation and oversight of their high volume foreclosure practices in multiple jurisdictions and advised clients on matters regarding new referrals, federal and state legislative and case law updates, foreclosure document template changes and conflict resolution with borrowers. She also has extensive experience representing creditors in bankruptcy proceedings in the Eastern and Western Districts of Virginia.
Kim is experienced in issues related to compliance with FDCPA, SCRA, CFPB, the FHA face to face interview requirement contained in 24 C.F.R. 203.604, and associated statutes, and regularly presents on hot topics in this area to industry associations.
