Mark is an associate in the firm's Business Litigation practice. He represents both plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of civil litigation matters.
Before joining the firm, Mark served as a law clerk for the Honorable William M. Ray, II in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. He received his law degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Georgia School of Law. While in law school, Mark served on the executive board of the Journal of Intellectual Property Law as the executive notes editor. He also gained significant litigation experience at UGA's legal clinics. In the Appellate Litigation Clinic, Mark helped secure remands for two clients in appeals of constitutional rights claims before the Eleventh Circuit. He also worked with the First Amendment Clinic litigating free speech claims in multiple federal courts. Mark received his bachelor's degree from Berry College.
Additionally, Mark is active in pro bono matters, including representing individuals in constitutional and civil rights litigation. Prior to his legal career, he worked with the Food Bank of Northeast Georgia and Feeding Georgia. Mark also spent nine years working in the entertainment industry. This diverse background enables Mark to bring real world experience to help meet his client's needs.
