Vince is an attorney in the firm's Consumer Financial Services practice, based in the San Diego office. He has worked on litigation prevention matters regarding loan origination, chain of title, pre-default borrower outreach regarding reinstatement and loan modification opportunities, HBOR compliance demand letters and SCRA, HUD and Debt Validation Notices in accordance with CFPB rules and regulations. He has litigated matters involving the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Truth in Lending Act (TILA) and Regulation Z, Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA) and Regulation X, California Homeowners Bill of Rights (HBOR), Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA), the Cal. Mil. & Vet. Code, and Quiet Title.
Prior to joining the firm, Vince was a legal intern then a senior intern for the U.S. Small Business Administration in their National Disaster Loan Resolution Center. While there, he researched critical issues regarding Regulation X, Regulation Z, bankruptcy automatic stay provisions and restrictions, mortgage contracts, and bank fraud.
Along with his finance experience, Vince is a veteran with service in the U.S. Army and Army Reserve that served as an Operations and Training NCO, and in the U.S. Marine Corps as a Nuclear, Biological, Chemical Warfare Instructor.
