Stephen Lozier is a attorney in the firm’s Consumer Financial Services practice with a primary focus on Financial Services Litigation. Stephen assists clients with navigating the variety of laws in consumer financial services with particular focus on federal consumer protection statutes such as the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), and the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).

Before joining Troutman Sanders, Stephen served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Lynn S. Brice, Judge for the Chesterfield County Circuit Court, where he handled a diverse range of state-law cases.

Stephen graduated cum laude from the University of Richmond School of Law, where he was a member of the University of Richmond Law Review. In addition, during his second year of law school Stephen served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Cleo E. Powell, Justice for the Supreme Court of Virginia.
