Richmond attorneys and staff praised for pro bono work
Several Richmond attorneys and staff were mentioned in a December 2010 Boaz & Ruth News from the Field newsletter for their pro bono efforts over the past several years.
Partner and intellectual property deputy practice group leader Rob Brooke, senior counsel Jim Ryan, associates Tevis Marshal, Tom Miller and Rebecca Ivey, paralegal Angela Pace and environmental compliance specialist Jerry Samford were singled out and praised for their legal expertise in assisting Boaz & Ruth with the purchase of a training facility, real estate closings on six residential homes, the physical growth of Boaz & Ruth, trademark negotiations and several other issues.
“Boaz & Ruth recognizes that the generous contributions of Troutman Sanders have increased the growth of the organization and, more importantly, the reach of its mission,” said the article.
“Because of the firm’s long-standing commitment to pro bono work, individual attorneys and staff are able to meaningfully engage in the work of Boaz & Ruth – directly impacting the lives of program participants and staff and improving the safety and beauty of the Highland Park neighborhood.”
