J. Thomas (Tommy) Miller, Jr.

Tommy focuses his practice on purchase, sale, leasing, and loan transactions for commercial real estate. He has extensive experience negotiating and drafting retail, office, ground, and industrial leases, purchase agreements, construction agreements, easements, restrictive covenants, loan documents, and other transactional documents.

Tommy is a 2003 graduate of the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William and Mary where he received his J.D. He also received his bachelor’s degree in 1995 from Mary Washington College.

• Represents local, regional, and national developers and landowners in the acquisition, sale, construction, and development of commercial, retail, office, and industrial properties.
• Represents landlords and tenants of commercial, retail, office, and industrial properties in negotiations of leases, ground leases, and other tenancies.
• Represents borrowers of commercial and development loans secured by real property from regional and national lenders.
• Represents landowners and developers in the permitting and land use matters.
• Represents estates and family trusts in the disposition of real property.
