Tambry Lynette Bradford Named to 2015 Southern California Rising Stars List
Pepper Hamilton announced that Tambry Lynette Bradford has been named to the Southern California Rising Stars list for 2015. Each year, no more than 5 percent of the lawyers in California receive this honor. Ms. Bradford is special counsel in the Commercial Litigation Practice Group, resident in the firm’s Los Angeles and Orange County offices. Her practice involves a wide range of complex civil litigation matters, including commercial disputes, health care, banking, intellectual property and product liability. She has experience in all aspects of litigation, from discovery to trial, and has represented public and private companies in state and federal courts in California, and other states including Nevada, Texas and Louisiana. Ms. Bradford received her J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law in 2002 and her B.A. in English from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1999.
Selection Process for Super Lawyers and Rising Stars
A statewide survey of lawyers who have been in practice for at least 5 years leads to the nomination of the best attorneys they have personally observed in action. Candidates are also added from searches by an attorney-led research staff for those who have attained certain honors or achievements. A research department examines the background and experience of each candidate. Point totals are calculated from the balloting and qualitative evaluation steps. Candidates are grouped according to primary area of practice. Members of a blue ribbon panel, selected from those with high point totals, review a list of candidates from their practice area. Final candidates are those with the highest point totals from each category. The selection process for Rising Stars is the same as the Super Lawyers selection process except that: 1) to be eligible for inclusion in Rising Stars, a candidate must be either 40 years old or younger or in practice for ten years or less and 2) candidates for Rising Stars do not go through peer evaluation by practice area.
