Troutman Pepper Advises MVM Partners in Investment in CurvaFix
BOSTON – Troutman Pepper client MVM Partners, a health care investment firm focused on commercial stage companies, recently led the close of a $39 million Series C financing for CurvaFix, a developer of medical devices to repair fractures in curved bones. Read a press release about the financing.
The $39 million financing will be used to expand sales and marketing efforts to advance commercialization of the company’s innovative pelvic intramedullary implant. CurvaFix’s unique device follows the natural curvature of the bone, providing a minimally invasive treatment option for pelvic fracture patients.
Drawing on its substantial experience in life sciences and venture capital, the Troutman Pepper team counseled MVM Partners in the transaction, with participation from Sectoral Asset Management and other existing investors.
