Michael is an associate in the firm's Labor + Employment Practice Group. His practice involves all aspects of the employment relationship, from counseling employers on the legal issues of workforce management, to representing employers and employees in all kinds of employment-related litigation under both federal and state laws. Michael has experience with employment handbooks and affirmative action plans, as well as employment contract and restrictive covenant disputes, wage and hour litigation, and discrimination and retaliation claims.
Michael has been committed to pro bono service since the first day of his practice. He has represented asylum seekers and unaccompanied minors in immigration proceedings; taught legal aid workshops to local high school students; assisted in nonprofit organization formation, management, and fundraising; helped veterans obtain wrongfully denied healthcare benefits; and provided free no-fault divorce services.
