A Locke Lord team led by Katy Spillers (Los Angeles) advised DS Growing & Management, LLC, and its founder David Sullivan in connection with Pacific Trellis Fruit’s acquisition of a 65% equity stake in Progressive Produce, LLC. A subsidiary of Dole plc, Progressive Produce is a grower, packer and distributor of conventional and organic produce to the retail, wholesale and foodservice sectors in the United States and Canada. Pacific Trellis Fruit is one of America’s top year-round growers, shippers and marketers of premium fresh fruits like table grapes, cherries, plums, nectarines, peaches and more. The transaction is expected to close in March 2024, subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions.
