Troutman Pepper Locke Advises Climate Investment on Series B Financing in Membrane Technology & Research

HOUSTON – Troutman Pepper Locke represented Climate Investment, an independently managed specialist investor in decarbonization technologies, as lead investor in a $27 million Series B equity raise by Membrane Technology & Research, Inc. (MTR). MTR is a global leader in membrane-based industrial gas separation technologies used in petrochemicals, oil and gas production, power generation, carbon capture, and other major industries. This funding will enable MTR to build on its leading position in membrane research and development, expand its manufacturing capacity, and accelerate the deployment of its fully commercialized membrane technologies, which provide cost-effective solutions for hydrocarbon recovery, hydrogen separation, natural gas sweetening, and fuel gas conditioning.
