RICHMOND – Troutman Pepper Locke served as counsel to Atlantic Union Bankshares Corporation (Atlantic Union), a Virginia financial holding company and the parent company of Atlantic Union Bank, a Virginia state-chartered bank and the largest regional bank headquartered in Virginia, in connection with Atlantic Union’s underwritten public offering of $250 million in aggregate principal amount of its 6.25% Fixed-to-Floating Rate Subordinated Notes due 2036.
Atlantic Union intends to use the net proceeds from this offering to repay its outstanding 4.25% Fixed-to-Floating Rate Subordinated Notes due 2029 and for general corporate purposes, including providing capital to Atlantic Union Bank to support its growth.
