ATLANTA – Troutman Pepper Locke represented Mile Auto, Inc., an Atlanta-based, AI-driven managing general agent (MGA) and pioneer in pay-per-mile auto insurance, in its acquisition of The Insurance House, Inc., effective July 1, 2026. The combined organization, with nearly $100 million in annual premium, serves more than 55,000 policyholders and 1,600 independent insurance agencies across 10 states, creating one of the Southeast’s most diversified technology-enabled auto insurance platforms. The acquisition brings together Mile Auto’s patented artificial intelligence and computer vision technologies with Insurance House’s more than 62 years of MGA experience and established independent agency relationships throughout the Southeast. The combined organization will continue operating under both the Mile Auto and Insurance House brands.
