Troutman Pepper successfully represented a satellite technology company in connection with a shareholder dispute arising from a project to build and launch a satellite for internet service to Sub-Saharan Africa. Our team defeated all claims against our clients, which included allegations under U.S., English, Hong Kong, and Cayman law, and won all of our clients’ counterclaims, following a six-week international arbitration hearing before the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC).
