Troutman Pepper Locke’s Alison Grounds and Jessica Davis will be speaking on two panels at Georgetown Law’s 2026 Advanced eDiscovery Institute. The conference will take place from Thursday, November 19 to Friday, November 20 at the Capital Hilton in Washington, D.C.

Jessica Davis, Chief Intake & Conflicts Officer at Troutman Pepper Locke, will be joined by David Kessler, Global Head of eDiscovery and Information at Norton Rose Fullbright, Elizabeth Simon, Associate General Counsel at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, and Florence Yee, Vice President and Corporate Counsel at Prudential Financial, to present “The Digital Knot: Untying the Ethical Obligations in Managing Your Own Files” on Thursday, November 19, from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. ET.

This panel untangles the ethical obligations applicable to how lawyers manage their own files – including duties of confidentiality, communication, and supervision. Learn what constitutes “client files” and how to avoid keeping too much or too little.

The panel of judges will discuss the Judicial AI Consortium and AI’s growing role in court operations. The panel will explore how courts are evaluating AI tools while maintaining fairness, transparency, and public trust.
