All Hands On Deck
Bryan Haynes, Agustin Rodriguez and Neelam Gill were quoted in the Vapor Voice article “ All Hands On Deck.” The article centers on the recent U.S. District Court of Maryland ruling that slashed the time for vapor companies to submit the premarket tobacco product applications (PMTAs) required to keep their products on the market. Rodriguez says, “the final guidance provides additional recommendations regarding battery safety, including testing certificates for any voluntary electrical standards." On the options to minimize testing costs, Gill says, “the bridging approach uses a body of information to extrapolate safety and health data in cases where these specific data does not exist.” Haynes says, “This approach simplifies the premarket process by helping applicants benefit from increased efficiencies and reduced costs because applicants can simply use the reference information in [tobacco product master files] rather than developing the information on their own.” Like and share on LinkedIn here.
