The session will address the rapidly evolving landscape of state artificial intelligence and automated decision-making technology (ADMT) requirements and their direct impact on consumer reporting agencies and financial institutions. Unlike existing state privacy laws, many of these new frameworks do not include FCRA and GLBA exemptions, creating a new layer of complexity and uncertainty. The discussion will also cover practical, real-world strategies to assess risk and prepare for compliance, helping legal, compliance, and risk professionals move forward with actionable insights and a forward-looking perspective.
