Migrant children who are unaccompanied, separated, or at risk of separation need protection from the moment they leave their homes, throughout their migration journey and after they reach their destination. This one hour CLE training will provide information about the services KIND provides to children on the move to inform migrant children about their rights and options for protection and to ensure legal representation for children entering the United States.
The training will be led by Christie Turner-Herbas, Director of Special Programs at KIND and Lauren Keenan, Supervising Attorney Special Programs – Mexico.
