Our team will examine recent regulatory and litigation developments affecting the credit card industry, with a focus on the evolving federal and state landscape governing credit card products and consumer credit more broadly. We will also address the rapidly changing AI, data privacy, and cybersecurity environment, including its implications for credit decisioning, fraud detection, and consumer-facing interactions under existing consumer protection laws. Finally, we will offer practical, risk-based strategies to help providers identify, manage, and mitigate compliance risks specific to credit card operations in an increasingly complex legal and regulatory environment.
