Partners Tate Tischner and Andrew Zappia will be presenting at the International CROP Innovation & Business (CropIB) Conference, taking place March 29–31, 2026, in Wageningen, the Netherlands. Tate and Andy will present on “Licensing & IP Developments Shaping Crop Innovation in the U.S.” on March 29 at 5:15 pm. Their keynote lecture will examine recent U.S. IP and licensing developments affecting crop traits, germplasm, and emerging breeding technologies. A key focus will be a comparison of the licensing infrastructure in the U.S. and Europe. They will also highlight the practical implications for startups and young companies as they work to navigate approvals, secure IP, and build a competitive foothold in the U.S. crop innovation landscape.

The CropIB Conference brings together breeding, AgBio and AgTech companies, academics, investors, startups, and experts from the international agri-food industry. Innovations, technologies, and business strategies for developing future crops that provide solutions to sustainability challenges in agriculture will be discussed.
