Ethical issues arise during the representation of all clients, but pro bono representation often presents unique challenges and opportunities. This program will focus on practical issues that regularly arise in pro bono representation and strategies for successfully handling them. The program will address issues that are common to all attorneys representing pro bono clients, as well as issues that are unique to in-house counsel engaging in pro bono representation.

- Conflicts of interest
- Representing clients with diminished capacity
- Competency to handle pro bono matters
