Barbara Sicalides, a partner in Troutman Pepper’s Business Litigation Practice Group, was quoted in the August 21, 2024 Law360 article, “FTC Fails 1st Test of Rulemaking Push in Noncompetes Loss.”
“The Pennsylvania and Florida courts will likely need to rule on summary judgment in each of their cases. It seems unlikely that either court will abruptly change directions in those summary judgment opinions, though it is unclear whether their summary judgment rulings (when issued) will apply to entities beyond the named plaintiffs in those cases,” said Troutman Sanders Pepper Hamilton LLP antitrust partner Barbara T. Sicalides.
