Alison Grounds will serve as a co-chair for The Georgetown Law Global Advanced eDiscovery Institute in Washington, D.C. on November 20 – 21. This conference will explore the complex and rapidly emerging eDiscovery, big data, and privacy challenges, providing practical takeaways and guidance.

On November 20, from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. ET, Jason Lichter will be presenting on “Mastering the Data Deluge: Technical Strategies for Managing Large Data Sources.” This panel will offer technical guidance on how to find the data you need to prove or defend your matter, and how to manage it from preservation through production and use at trial.

On November 21, from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m. ET, Ronald Raether and Alison Grounds will be joined by Blackbaud Inc.’s Chief Legal Officer, Jon Olson, to present “Breach Case Study: Lessons Learned From the Blackbaud Hack and Legal Fallout.” This session will unpack the aftermath of the 2020 Ransomware Attack with a focus on the human element of data breaches offering a unique perspective that compliments the technical analysis of the related investigations and litigation.
