Georgia Gov. Appoints Troutman Pepper Partner David Dove to Board of Regents

ATLANTA – David Dove, a partner in Troutman Pepper’s Regulatory Investigations, Strategy + Enforcement Practice, has been appointed by Georgia Governor Brian P. Kemp to serve as the Eleventh Congressional District Representative on the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia. The Board of Regents works to keep higher education affordable, accommodate growth in student enrollment, and ensure that students play an active role in research that benefits the state.

Dove was recently recognized by the University of Georgia Alumni Association with a Young Alumni Award for his outstanding leadership and service to the university, community, and legal profession. He remains highly engaged with his alma mater, serving as chairman of the Alumni Board of Directors for its School of Public and International Affairs and as a board member for the Law School Alumni Council. He also serves as an adjunct professor of law.

Dove has broad leadership experience at the highest levels of state government. He previously served as executive counsel to Gov. Kemp, interim director of the Georgia Environmental Protection Division, and as a lead attorney on Georgia’s tri-state water wars.
