Inner City Law Center Recognizes Troutman Pepper for Pro Bono Efforts

LOS ANGELES – Troutman Pepper has been recognized among the Inner City Law Center (ICLC) list of pro bono heroes, a group of law firms, companies, and additional volunteers that provided pro bono services to help acquire resources and affordable housing for those in the Los Angeles community.

Last year, Troutman Pepper attorneys logged more than 200 pro bono hours across several ICLC matters. Cindy Lee and Samantha Burdick were highlighted in the nonprofit’s annual report for their work during the pandemic to help some of Los Angeles County’s most vulnerable residents remain housed.

“Troutman Pepper is proud to partner with ICLC, which is a vital part of the Los Angeles community, advocating for equitable housing policies and providing legal services to address and prevent homelessness in the region,” said Partner Sara Richman, chair of Troutman Pepper’s pro bono program.

ICLC fights for housing and justice for low-income tenants, working-poor families, immigrants, people who are disabled or living with HIV/AIDS, and homeless veterans. In 2021, more than 800 volunteers provided nearly 15,000 hours of support valued at more than $6 million through the organization.
