Justices to Hear Army Vet's Bid for More Education Benefits
Misha Tseytlin and Timothy McHugh, a partner and an associate in Troutman Pepper's Appellate + Supreme Court Practice Group, were quoted in the June 26, 2023 Law360 article, " Justices to Hear Army Vet's Bid for More Education Benefits."
Rudisill's attorneys Misha Tseytlin and Timothy McHugh said in a joint statement Monday that they were "grateful and delighted" the Supreme Court had granted the petition and would hear Rudisill's case in the 2023-2024 term.
"We look forward to continuing this fight for veterans across the nation," they said in the statement, noting that if Rudisill prevailed in the case, "approximately 1.7 million Post-9/11 veterans will be eligible to receive additional educational benefits totaling billions of dollars."
"This would be transformative for millions of veterans, their families, and their communities," the attorneys said.
