In part one, we will discuss several of the most common challenges confronting organizations using Microsoft’s Purview eDiscovery features and how to address them. We will highlight some recent changes made to Purview and preview several on the roadmap for 2024. Recent case law construing parties’ eDiscovery obligations relating to Microsoft 365 will also be reviewed. This advanced session will showcase the capabilities of Microsoft Purview eDiscovery (Premium), the feature set available to corporations equipped either with an E5 license or with E3 plus the Compliance add-on. We will demonstrate the often untapped potential of Purview eDiscovery (Premium), providing attendees with practical knowledge on how best to exploit its functionality. This session is specifically designed to be beneficial to technologists and legal professionals with primary day-to-day responsibility for Microsoft Purview eDiscovery within their organizations.
