Jennifer Capasso Mendonca will serve as Panel Chair and Todd Cooper will serve as a Panelist for “Private Activity Bond Tests: Real World Considerations” at the upcoming NABL U: The Workshop, September 9-12 in Washington D.C. The panel will use a series of hypotheticals to explore nuances that frequently arise in the application of the private activity bond tests with a focus on refundings, changes in use, and exceptions to private use.

The Workshop is designed to start at the most basic topics related to public finance law and gradually work up to deeper dives in an effort to prepare the next generation of bond lawyers and municipal market participants. Panelists focus on the principles and general concepts of public finance practice, covering the fundamentals of bond law, including conduit issues and issuers, state law issues, closing logistics, tax law, securities law, and private activity bonds. Troutman Pepper Locke is a proud sponsor of the event.
