The DOJ’s focus on algorithmic price-setting tools is not likely to change with a new presidential administration, according to Bradley Weber, co-chair of Locke Lord LLP’s antitrust practice and artificial intelligence industry groups.

“I think it will probably still be a priority, although they may to some extent change some of their arguments or their theories,” Weber said. “For the most part I think it’s an issue that both Republicans and Democrats might agree on.”
