Troutman Pepper Counsels MVM Partners in Investment in Nalu Medical to Help Patients Battling Chronic Pain
BOSTON – Troutman Pepper advised MVM Partners, a life sciences investment fund focused on innovative healthcare companies in medical technology, pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, and digital health, in its investment in Nalu Medical, Inc., a private company creating solutions for chronic neuropathic pain. MVM led the $104 million equity financing, with Gilde Healthcare, along with other new and existing investors.
Nalu uses advanced technology to produce a pain management system that reduces chronic pain while minimally interfering with the patient’s everyday life. The new funding from MVM and others will be used to scale commercial operations to accelerate growth, continue expansion of clinical evidence, and enhance product development, along with other strategic efforts.
The Troutman Pepper team advising MVM was led by Chris Miller, Dan Sieck, Tim Atkins, Erin Whaley, Judy O’Grady, Mike Crumbock, Jessica Rothenberg, Andy Heffler, Marcelo Roman, Suzanne Mack, Kyle Dolinsky, Sarah Pylant, and Jake McDonough.
