Arkansas AG in the News:
- Attorney General (AG) Tim Griffin announced that more than 400 people registered for the inaugural “Emerging Issues Series” event, “Innovation with Integrity: Embracing AI Responsibly in Your Legal Practice,” which provided Arkansas’ legal community with a full day of leadership discussions and expert presentations on how artificial intelligence can reshape the practice of law while emphasizing that AI should augment, not replace, attorneys’ professional judgment and committing to future events in the series to address additional cutting-edge legal topics.
- Arkansas AG Tim Griffin has certified Act 934 of 2025, which updates and strengthens a 2023 law banning the sale and distribution of intoxicating hemp-derived products such as Delta-8, Delta-9, and THC-O, marking the conclusion of litigation over the earlier statute and formally empowering state regulators to end the sale of these unregulated, marijuana-like products — often marketed as gummies and drinks and sold without age restrictions — in order to protect Arkansas consumers and children.
