Troutman Pepper Partner Andrea Rimer Brogdon Named President of Georgia Brownfield Association
ATLANTA – Andrea Rimer Brogdon, a partner in Troutman Pepper’s Environmental and Natural Resources Practice, has been named President of the Georgia Brownfield Association (GBA). Brogdon began her 2-year term as President of GBA on January 1, 2024.
The Georgia Brownfield Association is a nonprofit advocacy and education organization supporting economic development in Georgia through responsible and sustainable redevelopment of environmentally impacted properties. As a member-led organization, GBA accomplishes its mission through collaborative engagement with EPD and EPA, the legislature, elected officials, local businesses, communities and other stakeholders. GBA’s membership is comprised of leading legal, engineering, risk management, economic and real estate development, and other environmentally focused professionals.
At Troutman Pepper, Brogdon regularly represents buyers, sellers, and lenders in the purchase and sale of real property and corporate assets across the United States, with a particular focus on brownfields redevelopment and compliance with hazardous substance and waste laws. Brogdon is recognized nationally as a leading attorney in hazardous site cleanup and redevelopment. She has assisted clients in successfully and efficiently managing environmental issues in the acquisition, lending, and divestiture of properties throughout the U.S.
