CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Chad Warpula, a partner in Troutman Pepper’s Charlotte office, has been selected to serve as Interim Chief Legal Officer for Shoals Technologies Group (NASDAQ: SHLS), a global leader in electrical balance of system solutions for the energy transition market. Warpula will remain a full-time, active partner at Troutman Pepper as he aids this important client in its transition.

For over a decade, Warpula has served as in-house general counsel for various private and public companies, either on a full-time or interim basis. While maintaining his full-time practice at Troutman Pepper, Warpula has served since 2020 as the Interim General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for American Tire Distributors, Inc. and also served in 2021 as Interim General Counsel for Chico’s FAS, Inc. (NYSE: CHS). He also spent five years as the full-time General Counsel and Executive of Dale Earnhardt, Inc. and Earnhardt Ganassi Racing, leading brands in the motorsports industry.  The firm’s attorneys like Warpula frequently partner with clients to fill critical positions, providing temporary leadership during searches, serving as a member of the senior management team, advising boards, and easing transition periods.
