Troutman Pepper Partner Jim Manley Appointed to Georgia’s Judicial Nominating Commission

ATLANTA –Jim Manley, a litigation partner in Troutman Pepper’s Atlanta office, has been selected by Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp to serve on the state’s Judicial Nominating Commission (JNC). The JNC makes recommendations to the governor to fill vacancies in state, superior, and appellate courts in Georgia.

Manley has more than two decades of experience serving as a trial lawyer to clients ranging from product manufacturers and public utilities to corporate officers and directors. He has extensive experience litigating commercial disputes and cases in the areas of consumer product safety and product liability, high-exposure torts and catastrophic injury, and professional and fiduciary liability. He also acts as counselor and advisor to several chief legal officers and general counsel in the manufacturing, retail, insurance services, and financial services industries.
