RICHMOND, Va. – Pamela Belleman, a Richmond, Virginia-based partner in Troutman Pepper’s national Real Estate Practice Group, has been named to Virginia Lawyers Weekly’s Class of 2023 Hall of Fame, which honors distinguished Virginia lawyers who have been in practice for at least 30 years.
Criteria for inclusion in the Hall of Fame include career accomplishments, contributions to the development of the law in Virginia, contributions to the bar and to the Commonwealth at large, and efforts to improve the quality of justice in Virginia.
At Troutman Pepper, Belleman advises developers and national retailers in all aspects of commercial real estate matters, including development, construction, acquisition, sale and leasing of commercial property. She also counsels clients on a full range of additional matters including construction law, land use and zoning, workouts and foreclosures, and has decades of experience assisting clients in the development and financing of new projects throughout the Southeast.
Belleman has been recognized by several industry authorities, including most recently being named a 2020 Fellow of the Virginia Law Foundation. She has achieved Martindale-Hubbell’s highest rating for legal ability and ethical standards and was named among the most Influential Women in Virginia by Virginia Lawyers Weekly. In 2010, she received the Woman of Achievement award from the Metropolitan Richmond Women’s Bar Association. Belleman also has been named among Richmond’s Top 20 Women in Commercial Real Estate by the Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) organization and has received peer recognition as a Virginia Super Lawyer.
