Troutman Pepper Partner Tom Blair Selected for Fellows of the American Bar Foundation

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Charles “Tom” Blair, a partner in Troutman Pepper’s Insurance and Reinsurance Practice Group, has been elected as a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation (ABF). Membership is limited to just 1% of lawyers licensed to practice in each jurisdiction. Members are nominated by their peers and selected by the ABF Board.

The ABF Fellows is a global honorary society that recognizes attorneys, judges, law faculty and legal scholars whose public and private careers have demonstrated outstanding dedication to the highest principles of the legal profession and to the welfare of their communities. ABF Fellows hail from nearly 40 countries and hold a wide variety of influential roles.

In his practice, Blair has represented general liability insurers for more than 30 years and has represented clients with respect to a host of complex coverage issues. His representations have included coverage matters involving environmental contamination, asbestos, hearing loss, silica, advertising injury and numerous other claims. He has litigated important coverage issues in the state and federal courts at both the trial and appellate levels. Blair combines a deep knowledge of insurance law with a strong commitment to helping clients achieve their goals.
