PORTLAND Adrienne Thompson, a partner in Troutman Pepper’s Energy Practice Group, has been named to Portland Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 Class of 2023. The awards recognize young executives that are making a substantial impact on their industries and communities.

Thompson provides regulatory and transactional advice to clients involved in the generation, marketing, and transmission of electric energy. Her practice focuses particularly on administrative issues before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), especially as they concern the Federal Power Act and the Public Utility Regulatory Policies Act of 1978 (PURPA).
