Tom Cole, the firm’s managing partner, said in a statement that the new partners and counsel have earned this recognition.

Cole also told Law360 Pulse on Wednesday that the promoted class includes attorneys who advise clients across the firm’s target industries, which are health sciences, insurance, financial services, private equity and energy.
“All of those industries are represented in that promoted class as well as a good cross section of practices around the firm in 12 different offices,” Cole said. “We’re really proud of the group [and] proud of the cross sections that they represent across the firm.”
Cole said it is hard to grasp that this is the third year the firm has held its annual evaluations and promotions since the pandemic began.
“It’s hard to believe this is our third year where we’ve done a promotion season since the pandemic,” Cole said. “The qualities that we look for when we’re evaluating potential promotion to partner have really stayed relatively consistent over the years, excellent lawyering, demonstrated ability to be a key piece of high-performing teams, bringing clients really high value and whether those teams are hybrid or in person or a combination, those client-focused qualities are always top of mind.”
