Megan Rahman and LA Kuykendall will be speaking on the "Practical and Ethical Considerations for Joint Defense Agreements" and "Perspectives on the Investigation & Prosecution of Anti-competition Criminal Cases" panels, respectively, at the Virginia Bar Association’s Seventh Annual White Collar Crime Criminal Law Forum, which will be held on September 14, 2023, at the University of Richmond School of Law.
Megan will offer her perspectives on the ethical, practical, and strategic considerations whenever counsel seeks to enter a Joint Defense Agreements in Anti-competition investigations. LA will discuss recent high-level DOJ prosecutions alleging violations of the Sherman Act, as well as the DOJ's renewed vigor in prosecuting offenses such as bid-rigging, price fixing and bribery.
