Alex is an associate in the firm’s Business Litigation practice. As a former district field representative for a U.S. Congressman, Alex developed a deep understanding of the needs of individuals, businesses, and agencies. His experience encompasses drafting, briefing, and research for complex litigation and transactional matters, providing detailed guidance and recommendations to clients, and advocating for pro bono clients.

Alex graduated from the University of Georgia School of Law where he earned his J.D., cum laude. While in law school, he served on the managing board for the Georgia Law Review and also represented clients in various veterans affairs matters as a member of the UGA Veterans Clinic. Prior to attending law school, he graduated summa cum laude from Georgia Southern University with an M.B.A. and his bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, in biological sciences from the University of Georgia.

  • Assisted with the defense of a publicly traded construction company in the retrial of an environmental nuisance, trespass, and emotional distress case, resulting in favorable outcome for the client.
  • Drafted briefing relating to sovereign immunity, official immunity, due process, constitutional rights, and consent decree termination in state and federal trial courts and courts of appeal.
  • Successfully represented pro bono clients before the Combat-Related Special Compensation board and Army Human Resources TSGLI review board, securing favorable outcomes and payments for the veterans.
